Created for the 2026 Chinese New Year campaign, this packaging celebrates the iconic landscape of Marlborough, New Zealand, through an artistic interpretation inspired by traditional Eastern landscape painting.
Layered mountain silhouettes, drifting mist, and a luminous full moon evoke both the distinctive terroir of Cloudy Bay and the poetic imagery of the Lunar New Year. The composition transforms the winery’s natural surroundings into a serene visual journey, expressing harmony between nature, craftsmanship, and the spirit of reunion.
Rather than relying on conventional festive symbols, the design invites consumers to experience the origin of Cloudy Bay itself. By blending New Zealand’s landscape with an Eastern aesthetic, it creates a timeless celebration that honors both the brand’s heritage and the cultural significance of the season.
