Coca Cola
Summer Nickname
FIlm
In China, it’s not your name that brings people closer—it’s your nickname.
Rather than directly adopting Coca-Cola’s global “Share a Coke with Names” campaign, we reimagined the idea for Chinese consumers by replacing names with popular nicknames and internet slang— reflecting the way young people naturally connect with one another.
As the thematic film for the campaign, we partnered with Mayday, one of Asia’s most influential rock bands, and set the story at a music festival—the perfect stage for youth, friendship, and shared emotions. As bottles labeled with nicknames such as “Best Boyfriend” and “King of Happiness” were passed from person to person, Coca-Cola became more than a beverage; it became a social catalyst that sparked conversations, celebrated identity, and brought people together through the spirit of “Open Happiness.”
